Your weight is tied up with PCOS, menopause, insulin resistance or a thyroid issue and generic advice hasn’t worked
You want to lose weight without cutting out whole food groups or counting every calorie
You know what to do in theory but can’t seem to make it stick week to week

Weight rarely sits on its own. We also work across gut health, NDIS and DVA, so the whole picture gets looked at, not just the number on the scales. If your relationship with food feels more like binge eating or disordered eating than a weight problem, our eating disorder dietitian Georgia Bates can help. See our eating disorder dietitian page.

Before you book

I’ve tried other dietitians or programs before – why would this be different?
If you’ve tried getting help before and felt like they didn’t really get you, you’re not alone. Fit matters in this work. The free 15-minute call is designed for exactly that – a no-pressure chance to talk to one of our dietitians, share what’s actually going on, and see if it feels like the right fit. There’s nothing to pay and no commitment to anything afterwards, and most people come away from the call clearer about their options whether or not they book.
Do you put people on a strict meal plan?
No. We don’t hand out a one-size template or a list of banned foods. The plan is built around what you already eat, your budget and your routine, with small changes that add up over time. Meal ideas are there if you want them, but the aim is something you can actually keep doing, not a diet you white-knuckle for a few weeks.
I’m on GLP-1 medication – can you still help?
Yes. We work alongside GLP-1 medication to help you get enough protein and nutrients, manage side effects like nausea, look after your muscle as the weight changes, and build eating habits that hold up if you ever come off it. The medication does part of the job, and the food and habit side is where a dietitian makes the difference.
How much does a session cost?
Standard fees: $145 (initial) and $95 (review) with a Dietitian, or $165 and $105 with a Senior Dietitian.

DVA Gold/White Card and ADF: No out-of-pocket with a valid referral.
NDIS: Billed directly to your plan.
Medicare (GP chronic condition plan): $63.40 rebate per session, for up to 5 allied health visits a year shared across any allied health you see, arranged through your GP. After the rebate your out-of-pocket is around $32-82 depending on session type.
Private health: Claim via Tyro on the spot, you pay only the gap (varies by fund).
Self-funded: Standard fees apply.

If you’re a pensioner or hold a concession card, give us a call to talk through payment options.
Do I need a referral?
For Medicare, DVA or ADF, yes (from your GP or through Bupa ADF Health Services). For NDIS, we need your plan details but no separate referral. For private health or self-funded, no referral needed.
What if I can’t get to a clinic?
Home visits are available around each clinic, and telehealth is Australia-wide, so you can see your dietitian by video wherever you are. Weight work translates well to video, since most of it is conversation, planning and review.
